WELCOME

WELCOME TO THE G.A.A. VICTORIA WEBSITE.

Gaelic Football and Hurling is played at Gaelic Park from March to August each Sunday.

Men and Women Football Teams and Hurling Teams participate each week.

Teams are always looking for more players, so come down and watch a game and join one of the great clubs that make up the Victorian GAA.

Gaelic Park

Gaelic Park Facilities cater for many activities and occasions. A large hall suitable for dances, balls, promotions and concerts combined with a commercial kitchen and bar is ideal for functions. Outside we have BBQs, a childrens playground and two playing fields with changing rooms available.

AFL International Cup

Ireland is playing in AFL International Cup played in Melbourne from 27th August. A few players from Melbourne GAA clubs will be playing for Ireland.

Round 1: Ireland vs Sweden - 27th August - 11am McAlister Oval, Royal Park, Carlton
Round 2: Ireland vs Finland - 29th August - 11am McAlister Oval, Royal Park, Carlton
Round 3: Ireland vs Canada - 1st September - 11am Reid Oval, Albert Park, Warrnambool

Football Finals

Congratulations to the Men and Women from Sinn Fein for winning the 2008 League Football finals.

The Sinn Fein men defeated Wolfe Tones 1-11 to 0-12 in the Mens Football Final on August 10th.
In the Womens final, Sinn Fein defeated Grace O'Malleys 7-18 to 2-4

Hurling Final - 20th July

Congratulations to Sinn Fein for winning the League Hurling final on Sunday against the Melbourne Shamrocks 4-04 to 2-09
